● Contrary to what Google Maps will tell you, Dunham Road and
the Scout Barn are not accessible from Cross Timbers Rd/1171. The only way to access Dunham Road is from 377. Dunham Road is on the east side of 377 about a quarter mile south of Cross Timbers Rd/1171. It is a small road difficult to see early in the morning, look
for the sign!
● Coming from Denton come south down 377. Just after passing 1171 take your first left. Take an immediate right and follow the road to the troop 771 Scout Barn.
● Coming from Fort Worth take 35W up to the 1171 exit. Turn right on 1171 and continue until you reach 377. Turn right at 377 and take your first left. Take an immediate right and follow the road to the troop 771 Scout Barn.
● Coming from Dallas take 114 all the way to 377. Turn right onto 377. Go approximately 3 miles and turn right after you pass the trailhead. If you reach 1171, then you have gone too far. Take an immediate right and follow the road to the troop 771 Scout Barn.
